Full of Chemicals – A Huge Disappointment

I rarely leave reviews, but I felt compelled to warn others about Wow Pop & Lock. I had high hopes for this product based on the marketing, but it turned out to be a huge letdown. First and foremost, the smell is incredibly strong and artificial — it’s clear this product is loaded with harsh chemicals. After using it just once, my hair felt coated and unnatural, almost like plastic. Instead of giving me shine and definition, it left a sticky, greasy residue that weighed my curls down and made my scalp itch. I seriously regret purchasing this. It’s one of those products that looks good on the shelf but performs terribly in reality. I want to return it and would never recommend it to anyone who actually cares about the health of their hair. Total waste of money

Not worth the purchase

After trying the product once, I returned quickly. It was not the texture I imagined and it left glitter chunks in my hair.

Mixed feelings

I tried this on dry hair and itt gave a great shine but my hair just looked greasy. I will try it on wet hair when I am not going out after shampooing as I don't want to risk having to rewash my hair after use, if it has the same effect on damp / wet hair.

Great product

Was recommended this by a friend. Now, use on repeat, gives a lovely, soft, smooth feel. On my third bottle

This product is an absolute game changer! I apply a pump to the ends of my hair and prevents frizz for hours.

Disappointing

Not a fan of this. I love a ton of WOW products but this adds no shine and was almost sticky. Disappointing

Must have for silky hair

After I use this product, it makes my hair very shiny by not a greasy look. It is my new favorite hair product. It makes my hair so silky and smooth.

Smoothes frizz on fine wavy and frizzy hair

I use Color Wow's Curl line (serum + purple "shook" spray work amazing together) to style my wavy hair. I love it but it doesn't stop the frizz that naturally pops up in my hair when I don't use heat on it. I added this product to try and add a little bit of hold. I love that I can add a pump or two of this product and I can control how much hold I add. For me, somewhere between 1 pump and 2 pumps is perfect. If I have blow dried my hair but skipped straightening, 1 pump is perfect to keep it mostly tamed down. I highly recommend.

Did not like

Left a weird film on my hair so I returned it. Not mean for curly hair types I suppose.

Kiss damaged, dry, puffy lengths GOOD-BYE!

Another amazing “smoke & mirrors” product that makes fried, frizzy, puffy, dry lengths appear healthy, smooth, silky and shiny! It’s a very thick and heavy gel/cream. Rub between your palms and then onto mid-lengths and ends. Love how this tames and perfects my hair!
