Reminiscing over discontinued serum ampoules

I remember the serum ampules for midnight secret. Around 2000. I will never understand why Guerlain would take it off the shelves. This was diamonds in a bottle. The results of that product was unmatched.

wow! what a great secret weapon

based on all the reviews online, I wasn't sure what to expect. But I was at least hoping for a quick moisture pick me up. It is so much more than that. It reminds me of Clarins' Beauty Flash Balm combined with herbal oils. It has a deep forest scent. I used this tube in a few days - since it is just the travel size. I will be getting the big one so I can make it last longer. It's nice to put on my neck too - not just face and hands.

This really smoothes and depuffs my face when I remember to use it after a night out. I wake up with lovely skin in the morning which is a miracle these days. Thoroughly reccomend.

My dry skin loves it

The product is smaller than the picture shows. My skin type is combination to very dry, especially during change of season. I would apply it ~1-2 times a week at night, and it has surprisingly lasted me a couple of months. The consistency of this product is more of lotion than serum, and it is scented (I don’t mind it too much). I would repurchase this item.

Old school was a better school

Wearing a sad face because I first tried this when it didn't come in plastic and didnt look like a generous sample. It used to do wonders for the day after partying. I bought it expecting that same efficacy. I was disappointed that this upscale luxury brand bought into the cheap is better policy and put it in a plastic tube but at luxury prices. It did nothing for me. I wasn't particularly tired. I did expect to look even more rested. Nope. Nada. Zip nothing. It made my foundation go on smoother as a moisturizing primer but I have plenty of things to do that. I won't buy again.
