Mothership VI Midnight Sun - Paleta Sombras

This is my absolute favorite of the 10 Mothership Pallets. Wearing this in the attached photo. So versatile. High pigment so tap lightly and build. So may possible looks for all seasons. Highly recommend.

Runway looks

This is the MOST gorgeous, glamorous palette I have ever owned or tried, and now I'm on an unfortunate mission to own every eyeshadow palette Pat McGrath has ever released. I like that it includes a mix of mattes, shimmers and glitters - never too much of one thing. The color story is dramatic, but you can also create beautiful subtle looks. It's such a versatile palette. I like to use the burgundy or eggplant shade (occasionally the shimmery dark green) with an angle brush as an eyeliner, then build that same shade into my outer lid, blend it with a lighter shade on my inner lid and pop a glitter shade in the middle. This eyeshadow is top of the line quality and will not budge - with or without primer. It takes some time and effort to really blend it because of this, but it's absolutely worth it. I find the colors to be so innovative and unique. My other favorite thing to do with this palette is to use the champagne glitter shade over any other eyeshadow, all over my lid. It creates the most divine scattered light effect. And of course, the packaging is otherworldly

A good eyeshadow palette, 3.5 stars.

This was my first mothership palette and it still holds a special place in my heart. The tones in this palette are mainly neutral and earthy. There are a couple of mattes that are hard to blend, but overall the eyeshadows are good quality. This palette does not have any “special shades”, so I don’t think it’s worth the full price. I got it for a great deal and it is a good palette, so I’m overall happy with my purchase.

Definitely on the pricier side but you get what you pay for. The color pay off is outstanding and of course the shimmers in the Pat Mcgrath formula is like no other. I love how this pallete has a very earthy color story and how it has warm and cool tones in here. I already got compliments on my eyeshadow today after trying it for the first time. If you're a little worried about the purple not looking good like I was I would recommend going in with a VERY light hand on that shade and putting in a lot of the dusk color to make it a smokey grungey look. This pallete just like my bronze seduction i feel looks amazing on literally any skin type!

One of my favorite palettes!

I originally bought this palette because I love the purple in it! The shimmering shades can be mixed with water and be used like water colors. The other shades blend out easily and are smooth.

Excellent palette

Excellent palette! This Mothership has a good amount of Astrals and shimmers, so you can make a daytime look if you don’t want to be loud during the day. It’s a fairly warm pallette and the lightest shades work as transition shades on darker skin tones as well. All of the shades blend well and would recommend this palette.

By far this is my fave mothership palette! I always reach out for this one the mattes are awesome and the olive green is my fave! They blend like a dream highly recommend this one because it has the perfect mattes!!

The best

I have and love all of my mothership palettes (and have all 9 as of 3/2022) and this is one of my favorites! The color story, theme, and shades are just perfect. You can do very easy daily work friendly looks and then totally amp it up and any other color up with astral solstice on top. Absolutely one of my most used motherships and 100% recommend to anyone. Pat McGrath makes the best products and eye shadows and this is no exception!

Super pretty colors and really high pigment. The super glittery shades like the amber, gold and white/cream need a tacky primer or glitter glue to get a good color deposit but the shimmers are great with a regular primer or concealer. The mattes are more like pressed pigments so go slow and not super heavy and that should avoid patchiness!

Trop jolie !

Superbe palette, aussi bien dans l'emballage que les textures, qui s'étirent super bien au pinceau. Se maquiller est facile et rapide, assez bluffant !

If you're eyeing this get it NOW

Christmas came late for me but this was absolutely worth the wait. The colors on this are just gorgeous and highly pigmented. I must say, the pictures that I take don't even do the Mothership VI justice because it looks that much nicer in person. If you are on the fence about this palette, I say just get it. It is fitting for a wide range of skin tones and has a lot of nice structural and transition shades to compliment the high foils and shimmers. Not to mention.... the packaging. It is absolutely DIVINE!! Beautifully clad with gold, it oozes beauty when you hold it.
