Kaze Wave - Mousse Definição

Let me start by saying, if you have fine/thin hair, or if your hair is otherwise easily weighed down, this product is not for you. That being said, when used on the appropriate hair types (coarser/thicker types with a natural curl pattern), this product is amazing! I use Moroccanoil first on my hair, then apply a small amount of my Redken curl cream, and end with whatever mousse or gel I'm using. With this product, I can skip the curl cream and still have well-defined, non-frizzy curls! I have to stress you only need a SMALL AMOUNT of this product; do NOT put your regular-sized glob of mousse in your hand! Scrunching like normal after applying is important too, even though you don't end up with the same crunch as other products. That took me some getting used to--remembering to still scrunch even though the texture was different.

Great for 2C/3A Hair

I have tried soooo many curl mousses and this is by far my favorite. I have 2c/3a curls so I needed a lightweight product that wouldn’t weigh down my hair. After washing my hair I use a leave-in conditioner, heat spray, and this mousse for definition. I scrunch the product in and dilute with a spray bottle of water and then rescrunch it. Then I use a diffuser and end up with absolutely gorgeous loose curls. Don’t forget to scrunch the crunch! Though truth be told, this product is less crunchy than others which is nice. I do wish they had a gel to go with this mousse to help hold the curl longer. On days 2/3/4 I usually spray more water on my hair and rescrunch the curls to define them again. Even without the extra hold I still live this product because it’s the only one that has worked to give my curls definition and volume without weighing them down or making them greasy.

This mousse offers a light to about medium hold and I'd say it's like a styling gel/cream and mousse combined together, Shu Uemera's Kaze Wave Curl and Wave Defining Hair Mousse gave me more volume accentuating my waves. It wasn't sticky or gummy on my hair. My hair was still soft with product on hair

Kaze Wave Curl and wave defining hair mousse was a pretty decent mousse. A sulfate-free hair product is always preferable to a product with sulfate. I think it was pretty helpful for helping with defining my waves.

Loved it!!! Only wish it held my hair together longer than it did. I would hate to use double the mousse to just get the job done!!!

This is such a great mousse smell so good it has nice hold on my hair to . Give my hair lot's of volume define curly hair.

Like a Mousse and a Styling Cream - great results

Light to medium long-lasting hold and like a styling cream and mousse combined, Shu Uemera's Kaze Wave Curl and Wave Defining Hair Mousse amplifies volume and intensifies waves and curls almost invisibly. I have 2a/2b very fine hair. My waves are very finicky, and they tend to either love or loathe products. In terms of wave assistance/definition, this fell flat, as did my hair. For those with medium or coarse hair, or those with thick hair and/or a tighter curl pattern, this would probably be great. But if you have fine hair, thin hair, and/or loose curls/waves, I fear you’ll have a similar experience. Pros: Smells great Provides some of the best frizz protection I’ve found Nice texture as applying to hair Produced nice wave and definition initially Made my hair nice and smooth Cons: As soon as I brushed my hair, my waves died My volume flattened almost immediately

Okay… not great

Still have pretty curls using this. Unfortunately I didn’t notice any grand difference from the less expensive or store bought mouses. Could not justify buying again for the price tag. Also the side of the can/list of ingredients look a little scary.

I have long hair that is wavy in some places and curly in others. I loved the smell of this mousse! I do think it helped with some frizz as well as to define my curls. I was able to wear my style for 2 days without frizz which is great! I knocked off a star because of the price point, I realize that prices are rising but I think that this price is steep for the amount you get!

Kaze Wave Curl & wave defining hair mouse

I used this mouse on a few different styles, on a couple different hair types. First was 3C curly hair, it helped define the curls,smooth fly aways, & bring some moisture & sheen to the curls. I tried an overnight braidout, but the mouse didn't have a strong enough hold, some were beautifully defined & some were not. I used it on wavy hair & got similar results as the 1st- definition, defrizzing,etc. The best thing about this product is there is no stiffness, no crunch, it's not sticky, its light. I absolutely recommend this for natural hair 3C & above, it may work well for tighter, more kinky curls depending on texture, I'm not sure.
