izumi tonic - Sérum Fortificante

This Shu Uemura Izumi Tonic Serum smells amazing I'm not sure if it's the rice water but it is light and fresh and last over night. I apply 2 pumps of serum to damp hair on the bottom half of my hair focusing on the ends. I let my hair air dry and there's no freeze with this serum, my hair isn't weighed down or oily. I have noticed my hair is stronger and there way less fallen hairs.

Feels good

I have used this conditioner for a few weeks now and my hair feels very clean and not weighed down. I don’t see a difference in the appearance but when I run my hands thru I can feel it. I do feel I need to keep using it and maybe then I will see a difference.

Not a fan

This, in combo with the shampoo and conditioner, made my hair super dry. I tried using it twice and both times my hair was left very brittle and dry. This was right after I got my hair cut too. It took several washes and deep conditioner to get it back to normal. I will say that I have thicker hair, so maybe this just isn’t the right product for my hair type

Great thickening serum

This serum was great for my thin, fine, damaged hair. The smell was pleasant and the serum felt good in my hair. It was easy to apply and felt light in my hair while conditioning and smoothing at the same time. It also felt as though it gave my hair more texture/fullness. I’ve used leave in conditioners in the past, never a serum, and while they may have conditioned/repaired my hair they made my hair feel limp and weighed down. I also used the Izumi Tonic Shampoo and Izumi Tonic Mask conditioner to get the maximum benefits. My hair felt healthy and conditioned and also had more texture to it. My husband commented several times while I used these products (unbeknownst to him) that my hair looked good - thicker. This product was a surprising change from ones I’ve tried in the past. I will use these products again in the future and will definitely recommend it to others.

Great Packaging

This packaging is so luxurious, it's in a heavy glass bottle. The product dispenses nicely. It says to apply to dry hair, which I have and I was worried about it weighing my hair down or looking greasy, but I did not have that problem. My only complaint with this whole line is the smell, the smell of this seems to linger more than the shampoo/conditioner.

Serum doesn’t weigh down hair!

I’ve been using this serum for a couple weeks now and have noticed my hair has improved. I use the serum together with shampoo and conditioner. It smells like a spa smell would. My hair is thicker, less frizz, more manageable. It doesn’t weigh my thin hair down. The packaging is luxurious. Sleek and modern. Excellent product. It works. Will buy again. Highly recommended with the shampoo and conditioner.

Nice serum

I’ve been using this for the last several weeks on my dry, thinning hair. It really leaves the ends feeling moisturized and protected. Less brittle for sure. It is lightweight. The smell is okay, may be a little much for some. Excited to see what my hair looks like in the next month. Overall worth a try. Sample was provide for my honest opinion. Thanks!

This serum has been a lifesaver, I can see a huge difference in the feel and texture of my hair also the shine and manageability of my hair has drastically improved.

Difficult to Dispense

The bottle this product comes in is very stylish first of all, it made me feel luxurious. When I tried it for the first time, I felt the bottle size was sleek and it would last a while. Using the serum was not easy for dispensing and the application was messy in my opinion and experience. The serum dropped down the top of the bottle dispenser and I routinely had to try and wipe or off the bottle with my hand. A little bit didn’t go a long way. This wasn’t easy to apply evenly on my hair or where it’s intended to be placed. I didn’t notice a strong scent either which is ok and I don’t have a preference. It felt like a quality experience and my hair seemed to be treated well by the soft, silky, texture of the conditioner on my hair. After my shower and towel dry, my hair felt nourished and pampered.

Love this product

I like this product for my wavy hair! I love the packaging it is so nice and sleek! The scent smells like I just left the salon and stays in my hair until I wash again. Alot of products that I have tried like this make my hair feel gritty or sticky and this one doesn't do that at all! I don't have to use much to see the difference in my waves. It definitely gives my hair more texture and it doesn't make it frizzy. I will continue to use this product!

This serum is great, super lightweight, smells great, leaves no residue. It leaves your hair feeling thicker and hydrated. I use this on my dry hair after blow drying and it has greatly protected my ends from damage. I would buy this product over and over again!
