Izumi Tonic - Bruma Fortificante

Really helpful with breakage

I received this product to try it and after a couple weeks using this treatment I can clearly see my hair stronger when I brush and wash, my split ends is better too, probably because the product helped with breakage. You don’t need a big amount to fill all the hair so probably is gonna long last what it is a great benefit since I have been using at least 2 times a week. I only missed some fragrance, as a personal preference

I wanted to love this but..

I wanted to love this! For the price and the purpose, this hairspray unfortunately did not deliver. I have a mix of straight wavy hair and it just made it kind of blah :( Pros: it makes your hair smooth, reduces frizz, and may help thicken hair. The spray applies pretty evenly. Cons: Every time I used this product, my hair felt weighed down. It was straighter than normal and harder to style. The next day it was always noticeably greasier. If you are going for a sleek straight look without frizz, this may be for you. However, your hair may lack oomph.

After using the Izumi Tonic Strengthening Rice Water Treatment daily for over a week, my hair feels softer and silkier and is a bit shinier. But, the tonic treatment did not add strength or body and thickness, which is what I was hoping for. The perfumy scent does not appeal to me; I would prefer a roasted rice aroma scent reflecting the rice water. Nevertheless, this product does have some benefits for softness and silkiness. However, the price is a bit high considering it did not produce the benefits I was hoping for the most.

Good product, not a staple

This is a good product. I do feel like its made my hair a bit softer. I haven't noticed my hair being stronger or having less breakage. I've been using this three times a week for three weeks. I wouldn't spend my money on it as I don't feel like it does enough to justify the price.

Worth it

Left my hair silky and shiny. Isn't greasy at all which is exactly what I wanted with my oily scalp. Haven't noticed any changes in regards to hairfall, but I think I need more time to see if it works well in that aspect

I have type 4 hair with thicker medium & coarse strands so traditionally I don’t gravitate towards spray leave ins. So while using Shu Uemura’s Rice Water treatment I wasn’t optimistic that it’d be personally enough for my hair type. The spray doesn’t mist over a larger surface area like I’d prefer so I just alternated using my hands. It’s watery and dried easily on my hair. I did get more stronger strands and great shine but I prefer for everyday leave ins to be more nourishing. So I used this when I’d apply heat and it was best suited in that routine. But that hard unbalanced feeling lingered in my hair and I can be protein sensitive so I’d use this occasionally. Like with seasonal heat styling.

Amazing product

Thank you Bzz agent for the free strengthening rice water treatment. I have been using this on my hair for about 2 weeks now and I notice a huge difference. I spray it on my hair after I get out of the shower and then I blow dry and style. It leaves my hair looking shiny and feeling so soft. The smell is also amazing. I noticed that I do not have as many split ends as normal now. I use this in place of my leave in conditioner.

I received this product for free in exchange for a review and I used it over the last few weeks and I see a HUGE difference in my hair. I also have extensions and it seems to work really well with those also. This was my first time trying rice water on my hair and I love it!

Smells amazing

I've been using this product on my hair and my 6 year old daughter's hair as well for about 3 weeks now. This product smells really good. It leaves our hair feeling smooth and silky. I noticed a few split ends on my hair before using this product and once I started using it the split ends weren't as noticeable anymore. I definitely recommend this product. I gave it 4 stars because it's sort of on the pricey side.

I will be buying this product again and again!

I've been using the Izumi Tonic Strengthening Rice Water Treatment for about 2 weeks now and I've noticed that my hair is visibly shinier, stronger and softer. This rice water also has a really lovely smell. I spray it on wet hair right out of the shower before drying and styling. I have coarse, frizzy, wavy/curly hair and found that it has reduced frizziness and softened my hair also reduced breakage. I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review.

I've only been using this for a couple weeks (and only wash my hair about twice) a week so it's hard to tell if it truly works. I have not noticed a noticeable difference as of yet; however, the product smells nice and does not leave residue in my hair. Looking forward to continuing using it!

Strengthens and creates shine

The shu uemura Izumi Tonic Strengthening Rice Water Treatment is an amazing hair care product. I have fine and thin hair. I have used this rice water treatment for about a week and noticed that my hair looks and feels better than before. My hair looks healthier, shinier and has more volume. I actually noticed a difference after using it for the first time. The product leaves a nice scent that lasts and I also love how easy it is to use this product - just wash and towel dry your hair and spray and massage the rice water treatment all over hair and then blow dry. Shu uemura sent me a free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program but I will be purchasing another bottle after I run out. I highly recommend this product!
