Love this!

I love this shampoo and conditioner! I’ve been through so many other brands after my favorite was discontinued and came across this and I have to say I love it more than the other discontinued brand. The smell is great and my hair is soft and silky.... even at the end of my hair does not feel greasy unlike how others leave my hair.

Instantly Smooth!

I typically stick to my preferred shampoo and conditioner, but noticed my hair was feeling frizzy and dry. I was excited to try the John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Care & Protect Shampoo and Conditioner to try and bring life back to my hair without going to the salon. After my first time using the shampoo and conditioner my hair instantly (yes, instantly in the shower!) felt silky and smooth. The smell was very relaxing and I really enjoyed it. After washing my hair with these products, I did not have any trouble combing through my hair like I typically do. My hair stayed soft and smooth until my next wash. I used these products at least twice a week to “detox” my hair. It was a pretty simple way to make my hair feel shiny and great. I would definitely buy these again! Finally a product that does what it says!!

Hands down the best shampoo I’ve ever had! I’ve used all kinds of shampoo product and none of them have worked out for me they would leave my hair really oily and I couldn’t even style it before it felling super nasty and staticy. Not to forget John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Shampoo has helped me out a lot with my itchy scalp somehow I don’t have dandruff which I’m really happy about because I have suffered from it for 2 years, I would always be really embarrassed about it and the smell of the shampoo is amazing, also it makes you feel refreshing after having it on! I’ve been using it for a little over a week now and it’s been life changing I wish I would of known about this product along time ago it has changed my hair for the better! I will for sure order another one before i run out of it! I want to thank the stellar product testing panel for sending me this great shampoo that I have even told my family members about so they can order it too and have amazing hair like I do now!

okay but not great

I was given this shampoo to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My initial impression of the John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Shampoo was the bottle was visually pleasing. The simple design with earthy green tones matched their 'detox' advertised purpose. That being said, I was surprised how perfumey and chemically it smelled. I expected a light, natural scent, especially with the avocado and green tea listed. In using it, it was less sudsy than my usual shampoo and required more to get complete coverage of my thick, wavy, shoulder length hair. My hair did have a clean feeling afterwards. As a curly haired girl, I tend to wash my hair 1-2 times a week. After using the shampoo, I did not see or notice a difference, even after 6 washes. I honestly expected more out of the John Frieda Shampoo, it usually higher ended and more expensive than I usually buy. I would not purchase this shampoo.

Just okay.

I received a free sample of this from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I honestly was not impressed with it. There was nothing special about it that made it stand out which is pretty disappointing considering how much I liked the conditioner. I probably would buy this, but only to match the scent of the conditioner.

Fantastic Results!

I received this product from the stellar product testing panel, and my hair is thanking me! I had my 3rd baby 7 months ago, and ever since I feel like my hair has been dull, and breaking a lot more. I started using this as soon as it arrived every other day and noticed that within days my scalp felt way less dry and my hair looked shinier. I even let it air dry a few times and it dried so nicely (normally my hair is so frizzy and my scalp super dry when I do that). I’m excited to keep using this product on my hair, and am so pleased with how it really rejuvenated it. It’s been about 2 weeks, and I’m loving the outcome!

Not for My Hair Type

I really liked the smell of this shampoo. It was a nice subtle scent and didn't have a heavy chemical scent to it. I have thicker hair but it did not take a lot to wash my hair, producing a nice lather. After my hair had dried, my hair felt clean and smoother. I have had it for a little over a week now, and have used it 4 times. However, the downside for me is that my hair is very picky about what I use on it. Sadly this product did not work well with my hair type. It caused my hair to become greasy a lot quicker than I typically experience. I may need to use it as a complement to other shampoos perhaps once every other week or so. Hopefully it works better on other hair types, but mine is not one of them. I would likely not purchase this in the future. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this shampoo.

Saved my dry winter hair

I began using the John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Shampoo after coming home from a winter vacation in the mountains on a ski trip. My hair took a beating in the dry, cold climate and I was prepared to have to get a few inches cut from my hair to even salvage the dry, frizz that was covering the top of my head. But after receiving this product from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I immediately broke the seal of this Shampoo and put it to work my first day home. Instantly after the shower my hair felt smoother and tamer. I decide to give it 3 more washes before I booked my hair appointment because I am desperately trying to grow out my hair for some spring time weddings and events I have coming. By using both the shampoo and the conditioner together, I can honestly say my hair looks much silkier, calmed my frizz completely and I don't feel the need to cut any amount of hair. It really has restored my hair. I am now wanting to look into more John Frieda products I was that impressed with the Detox & Repair shampoo!

Fabulous Shampoo!

I didn’t know what to expect with this shampoo, but after using it once I was hooked! The smell was pleasant, it was easy to lather through my hair, and easy on my scalp. My scalp felt refreshed and clean, and didn’t feel dry or right. My hair was exceptionally clean and there was no buildup- in fact I am pretty sure it cleaned up any buildup that was there, which usually only happens for me with ACV! With later uses throughout the week, I found the same results and it was especially great after a sweaty workout. My hair felt clean and soft, and the ends didn’t feel brittle! Great job John Frieda! Fresh & Clean

There are a lot of options when it comes to hair care products and it can be so overwhelming trying to decide on which brand or style to go with. This time around I didn’t have to choose. I was given the opportunity to test the Detox & Repair Shampoo & Conditioner from Stellar Product Testing Panel!! I have pretty much always been low maintenance when it comes to my fine, curly, frizzy, brown, shoulder length, pony tail wearing, hair regimne. As I inch closer to the 40 mark things have gotten a bit more complicated in this department! The grays are multiplying, which then leads to more frequent dyes and coloring and damage, on my already fragile locks. I’ve used these products two times thus far & I am very pleased with the results. The shampoo left my hair feeling clean and smooth, not dry or slick which I admire. The conditioner, which for me is most essential, is GOOD stuff! I left it on for 1-2 minutes, rinsed and finished up my shower. As my hair air dried it felt soft & curly versus the normal instant frizz mop. I used a small amount of anti-frizz / heat protection serum & started up the blowdryer. I had gone to my cousins baby shower along with my 4 year old daughter & other family. The results, my hair had a dash of volume, it felt smooth & light & stayed that way ALL day long, despite mother natures’ rain, snow & wind. My sister in law was impressed that I didn’t go with my normal ponytail do & complimented my lovely locks. She is a tough critic! I will continue to use the Detox & Repair products & look forward to trying their other goods! Try It!!

Silky and smooth

I received this product to try out from the stellar product testing panel. I can’t comment on how it works alone as I used this with the conditioner but it feels super silky right out of the bottle. It washes nicely and I didn’t feel like there was any residue left behind sometimes with heavier shampoos. My hair overall felt much smoother and more controllable. My normal hair texture is pretty coarse, thick and pretty straight. It coated my strands really well without having to use a ton either. My only complaint would be the smell is a little strong for me. It’s not bad but I prefer lighter scents. Overall a nice shampoo.

Amazing Shampoo for Dry Hair

The John Frieda Haircare Detox & Repair Shampoo was amazing for my dry hair. After only one use my hair was softer, and I couldn't stop running my hands through it. I used the shampoo every other day for a week.The first picture was taken prior to using the shampoo, and the second picture is the end result. This is definitely a shampoo I would purchase in the future. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this shampoo.
