Formula changed? Now eyes puffy and red.

I used this product for years but it seems the formula change. Previously the cream was pretty firm but my last bottle was very soft and creamy. Now after using it for a week my eye is puffy, red and hurts a little. The skin around my eyes is sensitive. Now I must find another product that doesn't make the skin around my eyes puff up.

100% Hydrated EYES

My go to eye cream. I heard the story behind Creme Ancienne and feel in love with the line. My eyes are hydrated, even my esthetician ask what I use for eye cream. 100% worth the price for me.

Wonderful, eye cream. It is very rich and moisturizing!

Very hydrating and long-lasting

My eyes are super sensitive the only product that didn't make them water in the past was LeMar. I decided to try something new (and less expensive) and bought this based on reviews. It feels GREAT and it's heavy enough to last and keep eye area hydrated for hours, but it's light enough that you don't feel it and it doesn't look goop-ey. I don't see any *lifting* of my eye area, but it does look hydrated and better than it does without it.

I was extremely disappointed in this product. I saw no difference after using this for over a month straight. The texture is nice and thick, but otherwise this product falls flat, especially compared to eye creams that are more than 1/3 of the price.

super rich

Super hydrating buttery texture, although it was a little dried out in the jar I received. The scent seems more subdued than the previous formula. The old formula also used to swirl which was a cute touch. Overall a good eye cream for sensitive eyes.

BEST EYE CREAM I HAVE EVER USED!!

This is by far the best eye cream I have ever used. Nothing compares. The consistency is so different from anything I have ever tried. Love how it makes my concealer look so flawless. I will never buy another eye cream. I have been using this for over 10 years. The best of the best. Worth the price because it last forever (I buy about once a year).

Ok. So in the winter I have the world’s worst eye skin. Thin skin, dark circles, puffy year round then winter brings the eczema. Crusty, flaking, stinging, red. “What’s wrong with your eyes, Doc?” No, this doesn’t treat the eczema. That’s what a good short term steroid course does. But it keeps the eczema from coming back. When my skin is at its worst, I’ll honestly just slather it on (none of this warming just a bit stuff) at night and let it soak into my skin. There’s nothing else that will moisturize and soften the delicate eye skin without causing stinging bad enough to bring me to tears. After a night of softening the makeup goes on smoothly and without irritation and with no smearing.

waxy

hard waxy cream is not really what I look for in eye cream. it lasts forever, but i never noticed it working so i was anxious for it to be finished. it could not be a day cream because it never soaks in, so it is more of a night cream because you couldn't wear makeup at all with it.

I have been using for many years. It is my favorite. However, it has doubled in price since I first started using. Originally was $65 - now $125. Small container - but lasts a while since it is very thick.

Sadly, way too thick.

I wanted to love this product, but it was way too thick, almost like a pomade, not the texture you want for the under eyes. I tried warming it between my fingers and tapping it on and it was still way too thick to apply. Also, it felt kinda greasy and just sat on top of my skin. Did not feel luxurious whatsoever. I am super disappointed in this product, but got the Fresh black tea eye cream instead and I LOVE that one!

waste of money

I have dry, very dry skin around my eyes and eyelids. I get raw dry patches and often wake up red and swollen from the dry patches. This eye cream did absolutely nothing. I used it over a month and no improvement. Smells good and it’s a wonderful thick creamy texture, but did nothing at all. Disappointing.
